tuttle square parkTuttle Square Park is a beautiful pocket garden as the result of the hard work of many volunteers and supporters from the community. The park beautifies a busy gateway intersection, and celebrates the history of the site that dates back to 1734 when a tavern owner by the name of Christine Otis Baker occupied the site. The granite thresholds in the garden are recycled from the original structure’s foundation.

ImageHenry Law Park is perhaps the finest area in Dover New Hampshire for outdoor community activities. The Rotary Arts Pavilion, a large amphitheater at the intersection of Henry Law Ave and Washington, is the venue used by many concerts and events, including the Cocheco Arts Festival. The park is in front of the Cocheco River, providing a peaceful place to take a walk, launch a canoe, or go fishing. The park has been visited by the Piscataqua Gundalow Project, and is used for various events year-round including the Pet-A-Palooza, the Apple Harvest, and the Farmer’s Market.
