first parish church monkey breadLocated within the 227 pages of the orange-tan cookbook entitled The First Parish Church Cookbook of Dover NH is a fine selection of world class genius’ recipes to tame your appetite, such as the recipe for Monkey Bread on page 23. This recipe is sure to give you a jump start with the energy you need to make it happen. Prepare Monkey Bread in a well lit area, and watch out for children! Great bread for all four seasons. Goes well with wine.

Ingredients
  • 4 tubes of biscuits
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • ¾ cup butter
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 ½ teaspoon cinnamon

    Cut each biscuit into 4 pieces. Dip into cinnamon and sugar. Line in greased Bundt pan. Bring brown sugar, cinnamon and butter to a boil and pour over biscuits. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
