salmon falls stonewareEstablished in 1986, Salmon Falls Pottery is located in the old Boston & Maine Train Engine House on Oak Street in Dover NH. The building was constructed in 1920 to service train engines during the rise of the railroads in America. The structure was in disrepair for many years and was brought back to life in 1983 as a production facility for Salmon Falls Stoneware. Local artisans work in the Engine House to produce the pottery.

Bill Clinton visited Salmon Falls Stoneware on December 29th, 2007 to help campaign for his wife, Hillary Rodham Clinton, who is running for President of the United States. Hillary Clinton is leading in the New Hampshire Primary. Bill Clinton's visit was to kick off New Hampshire’s “Big Challenges, Real Solutions – Time To Pick A President” as part of Hillary's campaign.
