
Tuttle’s Red Barn held the first book signing to celebrate the publication of Tuttle’s Red Barn The Story of America’s Oldest Family Farm on Sunday, September 23rd, 2007 from 1:00PM to 3:00PM at the original site of the farm – 151 Dover Point Road, Dover, NH 03820. Present was Author Richard Michelson and Illustrator Mary Azarian.
Richard Michelson is a prize-winning poet and children’s book author. His numerous children’s books have received a New Yorker Best Book, a Children’s Book Committee Book of the Year and a Jewish Book Council Book of the Month Award. Mary Azarian has illustrated over 40 books. Her work about Vermont's famous photographer of snow crystals in a picture book, Snowflake Bentley, won the Caldecott Award in 1999. Since 1963, she has worked from a small hill farm in northern Vermont where she started Farmhouse Press in 1969.
