Accommodations

Choice is important. That’s why we offer one and two-bedroom apartments as well as luxurious suites. We encourage residents to decorate their rooms according to their own tastes, bringing familiar furniture and artwork to make them feel more comfortable. Gas and electricity are included in the cost of monthly rent, as is snow removal from residents’ cars. Many residents enjoy socializing in our tasteful library and comfortable common area, and guests appreciate our attractive visitor accommodations.

Healthcare Services

At Langdon Place of Dover, we do all that we can to protect the dignity of our residents while helping them live as independently as possible. For those needing medical assistance, we provide the following on-site services:

  • Medication management
  • Assistance with activities of daily living
  • Functional rehab and wellness programs
  • Therapeutic dining
  • Customized care for medical management

For individuals needing more advanced medical care, we have a nursing center that is both Medicare and Medicaid-certified. Spacious, semi-private rooms are tastefully decorated, and both beds in each room have a window view. Our peaceful country surroundings serve as a soothing setting for individuals needing rehabilitation, and our professional and caring staff facilities thoughtful life enrichment programs as well as recreational and social outings.

Special Care for Special Needs

For individuals with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia, we facilitate appropriate and planned activities seven days a week. Our resident-friendly design includes a private unit with a generous indoor walking area and a secured outdoor courtyard. All private “Studio-style” suites have a half-bath and a picture window, along with access to a spacious living and dining room area. Most importantly, individuals experience a continuum of care as their medical needs increase.

About Dover – the Town

Settled in 1623, Dover is the oldest permanent settlement in New Hampshire and is the seventh oldest in the United States. We are located in the beautiful seacoast region with mountains to the north and beaches to the south, all within a 30-minute drive. The historic downtown is comprised of local businesses and artisans who now call the restored textile mills home.
